Cambodia, The Country That Will Surprise You
Cambodia left a deep impression on me from the moment we arrived. There’s an energy in this country that’s hard to describe. Something about the warmth of the people, the history carved into every temple, and the contrast between bustling cities and peaceful countryside.
Here are my current Blogs about Cambodia and there are definitely more in the making!

Phnom Penh Night Market – Is it Worth Visiting? An Honest Review
Siem Reap was a highlight, not just because of Angkor Wat, but because of how the town blends ancient wonders with everyday life. Watching the sunset at Angkor Wat was unforgettable. The golden light casting long shadows across the temple, making the detailed carvings glow as the day faded. Wandering through Bayon, with its massive stone faces looking down, or seeing Ta Prohm’s tangled roots reclaim the ruins felt like stepping into another world.

But Cambodia isn’t just about temples. Siem Reap itself had a charm of its own, from the buzzing night markets to quiet cafés by the river. After long days of exploring, we’d grab a cold sugarcane juice or a bowl of amok curry and just soak in the atmosphere.
And then there are the islands, Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem. The first time I set foot on Koh Rong, I was blown away by how pristine it was. Powdery white sand, the clearest water I’d ever seen, and a slower pace that made it impossible not to relax.
At night, swimming with bioluminescent plankton felt like something out of a dream, tiny glowing specks surrounding us in the dark water. And some of the best food Cambodia has to offer.
Cambodia is a place that lingers in your heart long after you leave. Whether it’s the awe of Angkor, the energy of city life, or the peaceful escape of the islands, every part of the journey felt special. It’s a country of resilience, beauty, and unforgettable experiences, and it’s one I know I’ll return to again.
