Location and how to get there
The Campuhan Ridge Walk is tucked away in the heart of Ubud, making it super convenient if you’re staying in town. I’ve explored this area myself, and it’s right near the Wos Rivers, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Pura Gunung Lebah Temple. The starting point is easy to find – it’s near the Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa, which is only a short 10-15 minute walk from the famous Ubud Palace.
Here i have the location for you at the south entrance.
Getting there is a breeze, and you’ve got a few options depending on your style. If you’re up for it, I recommend walking from central Ubud as it’s a pleasant walk. If you prefer a quicker trip, you can hop in a taxi or use ride-sharing apps like Grab or Gojek to drop you off at Pura Gunung Lebah.
We go everywhere in Bali with out scooter and love the flexibility and freedom it brings. We only choose Bikago as they are very reliable and have the best service, plus you will ride (almost) new scooters.
Tips for the Campuhan Ridge Walk
Watch where you step! – the walk is easy going, but traitorous with the large tiles and big spaces in between them. In a moment of inattention, you can easily misstep and hurt yourself. I had this happen myself and hurt my ankle badly.

Drink enough water – Its an open walk without any shade, so make sure you are hydrated enough. There are restaurants on either side with water, so you can always buy some.
Bring decent shoes – as mentioned, the underground is uneven to say the least, so make sure you have proper shoes.
Go in the morning or later afternoon – this way you avoid most of the heat and have a much more comfortable walk

Take a Camera – the views of the valley and rice fields are stunning, so bring a camera, or just enjoy the walk.
Use Sunscreen and a cap – the sun can be intense, especially in the afternoon. So put on sunscreen and wear a hat to protect yourself, as I learned the hard way!
Avoid Peak Heat – skip 10 AM-4 PM
